Listen To What Your Body Is Telling You

All of us take our bodies for granted until there is pain. From small aches to more significant chronic conditions, these signals are our body’s way of sending a message. Pain is such a unique experience; it is in fact that no two individuals will experience pain in exactly same way. Each patient’s set of symptoms are slightly different and must be thoughtfully assessed as it relates to their personal history, pain level, tolerance, and its effect on function as it relates to our daily activities. Even with this knowledge, the medical community at large has treated pain as a one-size-fits-all problem, and will often prescribe the same methods of treatment to patient after patient with no comprehension of the underlying cause of discomfort or the specific needs of the individual.

At Connecticut Pain Care we listen to your body’s signals and we listen to you. With over 20 years of experience in addressing pain management, we understand that as much as we would like it to be, medicine is not an exact science and there is no cookie-cutter style approach toward the treatment of pain.  Patient care is determined by the need to give each individual the personalized attention required to appropriately diagnose his or her medical condition, and to develop the most effective and efficient treatment plan to reduce and control discomfort. We believe that patients who suffer from chronic pain should be provided with stable management of their symptoms, an improved level of functioning and overall better quality of life.
